Believe Nothing Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

Believe nothing as long as it lacks the truth
Accept everything so long it helps and suits
Think of a moment when it pinches your heart
Refuses to move ahead even with slow start

Neither It is not necessary to go in search
Nor to approach any holy people who preach
You refuse to accept any thing even if come across
As that does not convince you whether it can be or was

Many good things might have been said in the past
Its impression might have prevailed long or lasted
Yet it may fail to take you on those dotted lines
You can surely turn against and put them on side lines

“Your heart is sacred where I reside and utter holy words”
Many such sentences confirm as said by almighty or lords
If that place refuses to obey any outside sentences
Don’t follow such preachers who make you tense

Believe in those ideals which convince you of His presence
Give you sense of fulfillment when you practice it at once
Inner temple wall may store it as unforgettable hymns
Love and only love may be spelled and other things condemned

Not all people may be gifted with fortunes
There may be many who may be forced to dance out of tune
What do they do to address for their unfortunate existence?
They turn to any available means which may brighten their chance

If that is the case so then prefer what has been said
Follow it by heart and pursue the principles clearly laid
Certain type of behavior is insisted or purposefully professed
So, when time comes for its acceptance, can be easily confessed

Love to live not in a way as others doing or following
Think only on those lines where your conscious is allowing
There may be real ways and means to make you fall in line
Accept and adhere to such lines and speak it with body line

The face may shine with bright light confirming his existence
You need not go to any temple, mosque or church for any chance
“Come to me and I shall take your pains away with care”
When you are under my oath and protection you can rise and dare
