L-ong night is over and gone,
E-vening shadows have faded;
O-ne fresh morn has broken,
N-ow you rise from the bed.
O-nce the haze disappears,
R-ays from the sky shine;
A-fter the twilight turns away, the dusk too is left behind.

S-econd month of the year
O-n early twenty-first day;
R-ain and clouds have turned
I-nto a warm wide skyway.
A-llow me to send greetings,
N-ot for a moment will I forget;
O-nly mind knows the reason to believe with no regret.
