Believing - Poem by Gordon Jerome

How do I cope?
One day at a time
Believing in hope
My greatest crime
You ask me why
I refuse to give in
Because I must try
To be whole again
I won’t turn away
I’ll stand and fight
Till my dying day
With all my might
Till the oceans dry
And mountains fall
With head held high
I will stand up tall.
“closing thought”
Trust in yourself to see you through
For your greatest power is belief in you
