Benson was butler to the Tates,
Dysfunctional family, so
Benson spins off and relocates,
The governor's mansion does go.
Benson handles the job so well,
More ambitious than butlering,
Gets good promotions that did befell,
Becomes lieutenant governing.
Then was running against his boss,
Tension between the two a lot.
A cliffhanger, be win or loss?
Would never know, cuz cancelled got.

Quite upward mobile Benson be.
