Best Laid Plan - Lincoln Park Zoo Poem by Ima Ryma

Best Laid Plan - Lincoln Park Zoo

New hatched Chilean flamingo,
I guess I am a big to do.
An incubation made it so,
First chick hatched at Lincoln Park Zoo.
'Twas my best chance to healthy hatch,
And when I've gotten big and strong,
I'll join the flamingo flock, natch,
And in the pink of dance and song.
So excited are humans here,
So excited they even took
Some pix to highlight my premier,
So you can friend me on Facebook.

I'm being held in human palm
By someone I guess must be Mom!
