Bequeath Your Bequest Poem by Rajendran Muthiah

Bequeath Your Bequest

To bequeath your matchless bequest
of marbled beauty and elegant manners
pay heed to my request.
Come with me to the gardens of Nature
at the amazing, breeze embracing western ghats
to lie on the lap of Heaven
to enjoy peace and rest at the sky-reaching crest.
The minds which browsed only holocausts
and the eyes which met merciless killings
find solace in the serene hills!
If hills and rills fail to fill our hearts with pleasure
tears will be flooding in our eyes in great measure.
