Best Pocket Poem by JoAnn McGrath

Best Pocket

Rating: 5.0

I found it there...
within your best pocket
A single red rose bud
Freeze dried in time
Fragile to the touch
Just to breath upon it sends it to dust

Did you keep it there
For a memory shared
Or left forgotten to be thrown away
When once removed
Sparked thoughts of pleasure proved

And I found it there...
Within your best pocket

JoAnn, this is sad, but it is beautiful and the imagery pristine. Top marks and thanks for sharing it. Dodgy Dave
