You and I are a generation apart
Yet we share a common bond
Not always on the same avenue
But sharing dreams and beyond

Not always in the same dimension
But understanding the reason why
You choose to live your life free…
I pray your desires won’t go awry

The journey will have many junctions
Your destination is not yet existing…
Know that I support your ambitions
With a caring heart I will be assisting

Dear grandchild, may your path be clear
And the fulfillment of your dreams prevail
Most of all, I wish you much personal joy
