Between God and me
lies the world I live in
the reality of every day
filled with happiness and hardship,
love and hate

Between God and me
a distance so immensely far away
and yet at some moments so close
That hat I can feel
his strength and wisdom
inside of me

Now at this moment in time
I still live in the living world
But maybe tomorrow life will change
and will I travel to a place called heaven
to meet up with people
who traveled that same journey
long before I did
