Beverley's Will

I live in Beverley Bumps;
totally flat except for speed humps.
I'll build a hill,
I will;
get a neighbour
to build one too;
and another and another -
till Bev drops Bumps
for Hills.

Main Street can become simply Bumps;
William can go to Dafoe;
for Charles I propose Jeremy Irons;
for Jeanes, Harlows Street;
for Spring, Byington (trope old lady, sweet):
for Pope, Jude Law is meet.
Woodlands can prefix Holly;
Fairbanks can stay;
and, such is my folly,
West can go Mae.
