Those who betray their
Country,
Are the lowest of the low!
They suck the blood
Of the people
As vampires,
So well Know
They plant seeds of destruction,
And Cut down,
Trees of hope,
Will strangle all
And anything,
And surround themselves,
With Rogues!
They are unjust
Not fair,
And should never
Be allowed to practice,
Benevolence, good governance
Of which, they know not
Beauty's flair
For in their hearts
There is no love,
Only, Evil's there!
Powerful and incisive lines denouncing traitors of their own country and people. So true, they should never be allowed to govern for they just pull down their country and people to the deepest and darkest bottom.
Another excellent poem, Sandra! And with all due respect, even evil people have the capacity to love. The only ones who don't are those with no conscience. But that's the opinion of this eternal optimist!
Give up the poetry darling and get yourself laid. it'll do you a world of good
