Beyond my reach
I am poet of different kind
Straight, simple and mild
I love to be among people
Who stand in open and struggle
What do they earn?
Not to feel full even
Family get under nourishment
I have some to write and comment
Rich throw parties
With lavish dishes
And how much wastage
I put hungry faces on my page
What do they want?
And what we can't
We can certainly take their care
And call it fair
I have felt
And smelt
Sweat of their labor
It is real décor of humanity
We are missing their tears
Which they always bear
Think of their new born
And still remain torn
I know their plight
And feel sadness slight
It is beyond my reach
To speak about and teach

Amazing poem. Here, the focus is on the struggle and the condition of the poor and the deprived sections of the society vis-a`-vis the rich and the effluent ones. Unless the latter change their mindset, there cannot be any perceptible improvement in the situation. Thanks for your concern. I love to be among people / Who stand in open and struggle Rich throw parties / With lavish dishes / And how much wastage
so encouraging reply... thanks
