Bind You Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

Bind You

Bind you

one who hasn't smelt the fragrance of humanity
the soul is a disgrace to an almighty
the basic thing is totally forgotten
we live in the world that is termed as rotten

one may feel elated
with divine feelings stored
and show the people
in the way they should honestly struggle

the Hari or god is around
only her presence is to be found
noble souls shall always see
and feel free

the worldly pleasure is of no importance
The human birth is mere chance
take full opportunity at once
and prove that you have full remittance

Hari is inside
with heavenly abode
you may feel his stay
that shall bind you and not go away
