Birth Of Expression - Poem by Dianne Michele Dumas

How is it possible this blind test of scribble
resulted in more than just scrabble.
As we continued on, I learned and images appeared.
Where once there were none, now here.
Not Van Gough or Monet' at all
but my own expression of life, I can now recall.

Poet's Notes about The Poem

Inspired by Architecture 120 at Portland State University. I dedicate this poem to Professor Steve Ewoldt.
