Birthday Angel Poem by John Leroy Maxwell

Birthday Angel

Once there was born a Little Angel, whose name
is your name, whose face is your face, and whose
heart belongs to Mommy and Daddy
As you dream thru the early years of life, and step
thru the joys of your childhood, take in stride all of
the wonders of life
Love those who have given you life, and let them
speak to you about what is good and beautiful
When family love is real and true, it is Heavenly
Like most of us, shoes start off small, but as we
grow, so our shoes will also, traveling with a sense
of peace and satisfaction
View these shoes as a gift for the trip
And as you gaze upon them, reflect on how they
have led you to serve others, whose hearts were
to tired to make the journey
Happy Birthday, My Angel
