Birthday Friendship Poem by John Leroy Maxwell

Birthday Friendship

It's your Birthday, so toot your horn,
give thanks and then Amen..
This part of life is to share with Family
and all your loving Friends..
Age is just a number, it means nothing
by itself, so enjoy your day, with Love
and Happiness, put that number on the shelf..
Heal your mind and body, and live life at
it's best.. Each day will bring you Harmony,
Remembrance, and new Zest..
It's important for one to face some strife,
when dealing with life, and remember
what you had.. You'll savor all the memories,
most good, but then again, some bad..
Age has the power to refresh you, and
strengthen your every dream.. So take heed
in this Heavenly gift my Friend, it's your
alone to redeem.. Happiness is just the
icing on the Cake of Life you see..
I wish you this, and more for sure, to be
the best that You can be..
