Bits Of Me In The Bright Blue Everywhere Poem by Patti Masterman

Bits Of Me In The Bright Blue Everywhere

I try to imagine all of my chrysalides
Over hill and dale, and in the far distance,
Sun gleaming on bright, fledgling wings
As they spread and take to the sky;
Bet you never knew my offspring
Would someday inherit the winds of time.
