ଦିନେ ଚିନି
ବୋଲି ଭାବି
ଚିନିପରି ଦିଶୁଥିବା
ସାର ପୁଳାଏ
ପାଟିରେ ପକେଇ
ଦେଇଥିଲି!

ପାଟିଟା ଭୀଷଣ
ଜଳାପୋଡ଼ା କଲା
ଥୁ ଥୁ କରି କାହାକୁ ନ କହି
ପାଟିରୁ ସାର ପୁଳାକୁ
କାଢି ପକେଇଥିଲି!

ସେଇ ଦିନଠୁ
ଚିନି ଖାଇବା ପୂର୍ବରୁ
ଦେଖିକି ଖାଏ!
