Black Or White? Poem by DeAire Taylor

Black Or White?

Rating: 5.0

Black or white?
Why should it matter?
Why should you judge me on my skin and not my character?
Because I'm darker than you, should I really be last?
If you're lighter than me, should you really be first?
I am not an second level animal
I'm a human being
Just like you are
But fear not, for your fountain of dirt cannot cross into my ocean of halos
For I am a gift of heavenly love
I never judge on skin color
I believe everyoone should be like me
And love you if you smile

what is the true judgement? Black or White? We shouldn't favor the skin but only one...honest mind..
