Blaming The White Men Poem by Hebert Logerie

Blaming The White Men

Blaming the white men
Is the idea, the insane ideas
That many of you have in your eyes
In your head and in your brain.

You're scared of the truth
You're playing the ugly lute
The sad refrain that you ought to forget
To exterminate and to obliterate
FYI, the white men are in extreme debt
They're complaining, moaning and blaming
The world too, for the constant criminating.

The truth hurts: blame yourselves now
And quit blaming the pusillanimous white men
Who face discrimination on different scales
Or levels. I ain't trying to invent new tales
Stop looking for excuses. Tomorrow
Belongs to everyone, for all men
Women and children.

Repel the obvious mentality of blaming others
And roll up your long sleeves to fight the right battles
Be nobody's little men and women. Change saddles
If the old ones no longer fit. Don't use too many powders
Show your true original face, because your color is beautiful
You, too, can be amazing, scientific and wonderful.

Use your god-given or divine intelligence to be better
Stop blaming others and using fake excuses
Remove the white men from the core, from the center
Of your existence. Break and cut out the chains, build bridges
Talk to and understand more people who don't resemble you
Expand, grow-up and stretch beyond comprehension too.

Be responsible. Be different. Be controversial in good ways
Be like the sun which goes beyond the orbits, beyond its rays
You need permission from nobody to love yourselves and others
All human lives always matter! Emancipation matters!
