Blessed - Poem by Orlando Belo
God took you from the darkness,
and blessed you with light.
He took the fresh morning breeze,
so you would have it day and night.
He took the sparkle from a distant star
and placed it in your eyes.
With the moon's glow, He touched your face,
which your complexion testifies.
He took the warmth of our sun
and placed it in your heart,
He shared it with your tremendous smile,
and this was just the start.
