Blessed are those who are now hungry
suffering and living in poverty
but still walk in faith with me
for they will be filled forevermore

Blessed are those who now weep
for I have touched your tears
and felt your pain you hold deep
I will dry them for you
and you will cry no more

Blessed are those who remain strong
and those who face their fears
Blessed are those who keep swimming toward the shore
crossing rivers no matter how wide or long

Blessed are those who in your hearts remain true
Blessed are those through hard times that still believe
and blessed are those who know I will never leave
