Blind Eyes - Poem by ryan dainiel brown

Fear, uncertainty
You wear it well
Masked behind hate
You are pathetic

You fear the unknown
Scared of one boy
Small and innocent
It's just one boy

You of all people
A horror to boys worldwide
Trembling in your presence
Yet the roles have switched

His heart, his mind
They are different
Dark and complex
Harmful to its self

She is your treasure
The gleaming star you hold
He is the darkness
The downfall for all

Or is he?
Is he a monster
A destroyer to her and himself?
Wrong again old man
