Blood Cry Poem by Matthew Holloway

Blood Cry

There is something
in the hidden desires
that good folk never discuss
a raw form of poetry
a lust without politness
something honest, factual
an uncovered part of the soul
screaming here I am
such things as I exist
there is no fear here
a blood cry to the world
that often remains in silence
all my name
