Blood Merchants Poem by Pen Anthony

Blood Merchants

I'm scared of the radio
I'm scared of the television
Hell I'm even scared of the Internet
The news floats everywhere

Two were killed
A car exploded
A shooter in school
Suicide bombers on the rise

Blood merchants everywhere
It's worse when you envy robbers
Who just take your coin
Leave you to toil for another

It's sad
That someone can take your life at will
A task delegated to He above
It pains me to know

You can lose your life
As easily as the track of time
When you're having a good time
The Lord giveth and a man taketh

Who elected others to
The throne of God
Who decides
Who's had enough of the world

What drives such beasts
