bloodstain Poem by LINDITA ARAPI

bloodstain

Rating: 2.5

In a room
white
with cushions
white
enter
kinsmen with white fezes
sitting
wiping brows with white kerchiefs
drinking
scalding coffee in white cups
blessing
the bride draped in white
saying
may your days be white
then rising
for the feast
slaughtering the white sheep
