Blown Poem by Agata Konopka

Blown

Rating: 4.0

Gentle strokes hardly perceptible
Blew change our direction, came with the wind
Tears gently marking the arrival, flowing
Over what was broken
Wandering barely missing the walls of the corridor
In a place most hollow, following the wind
It whistles in our ears harder than before
Tingling finger tips holding hands
Hoping we can withstand the wind
It blows without feeling
Harder will it break us apart?
Long ago we forgot, ourselves
Found each other in listlessness
Concealing sorrow we never knew we were holding,
On to each other but the sorrows
They stood strong flowing
Not as a meandering brook but as a torrent
Pouring rain threatening to drown
We found each other in loneliness
Lay together comforted for a time
till the winds blow again
