Blue House Poem by Joseph Narusiewicz

Blue House

Rating: 5.0

She is the water of Isis
Sea as blue as freedom
I reach for the night candle
The moon rises like a pearl
We are the vast shore

Oh lady of pain come home
Silence is the roar of the lioness
I am weak with pleasure
Your mountains are plush
Your sunset orange joy

I am the knees of Egypt
I am her waiting lover
Come home
Please come home
I feel her breath

A blue house waits in the oaks
