Shadowing emotions of mine heart
The fields are, as I am blue
Maybe reflections from the mountain peaks
Above clear skies-

Or has the setting within myself
Fallen deep asleep
Wherein no light may shine

Long, the shadows have traveled far
None so far as mine for you
Blue the shadows of my heart
Have become the darkest blue

Daydream my love into the light
When then I may find you
My darkest blue before the night
Will shine the brightest blue

Someday, when stars are shinning bright
Should there be a love anew
Broken hearts have scars where love has been
Mine still remember you
