Boaz Suddenly Believes Poem by gershon hepner

Boaz Suddenly Believes

Between the lines you have to read
if you would learn the truth.
Between the rows of alien seed
beholding Boaz, Ruth
stands lonely, without trepidation,
gleaning barley sheaves.
She stoops. He sees her with elation,
and suddenly believes.
