Bone Marrow Freezes At Negative Eight Degrees Celcius Poem by Wes Thompson

Bone Marrow Freezes At Negative Eight Degrees Celcius

Rating: 5.0

the cold shakes my bones
I want Her hands back in mine
you probably expect me to say they were warm
but they were not
and you would understand if you had no where
to call home
no where left to hide
you would understand how beautiful it was
that I loved how cold Her hands were
that She is everything I have
pretty, little, cold hands
we both knew it was not worth it
to let go of each other's grip
in between our tangled fingers we found home
it was not worth it
but we let go just the same
She put those freezing hands
on my my freezing cheeks
She kissed my mouth
but all I felt were those tiny, icy hands
you could not understand..
as we were reborn
in each other's breath

Fab title, brilliance within. Chilling hands warming hearts. HG; -) xx

Intriguing title, but an exceptional poem all the same... I can understand how beautiful it was because you made it that way. Rgds, Ivan
