Superbly imaged haunting tale, Michael! Totally fitting with the season. Enjoyed reading this one way too much! Haunted houses scare me too much to even go through them anymore. I used to do it on a dare, but not anymore..............big chicken! LInda
Scared the living daylights out of me, too, Michael. Reminded me of a large manor house I worked in some time ago. I did nights and so many ghostly things happened there. Then they found some old papers in the attic telling of two people who had hanged themselves in there 100 years before. Getting back to your poem, great use of words as only you can do. Enjoyed it immensely. Love, Fran xxx
And yes, a ghoulishly reminder from our Resident Ghost-Writer, that, indeed the Eve of ALL HALLOWS IS AT OUR BOOT HEELS! GREAT PIECE, M. J. G.(10) '''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''FJR
