Borderline? No! Sick? Yes! Poem by Lawrence S. Pertillar

Borderline? No! Sick? Yes!

What had been done,
To a making of life...
Lived better.
Before and not after,
Finding that time...
Without being reminded,
Life to receive and live it...
Is a blessing.
A gift given to appreciate.

Yet so many thoughtless dismiss,
This opportunity to show and express...
How grateful they are.
Without addressing their complaints,
About who should do what, when and why...
For them.
Those who sit and await,
To make accusations.

And...
Heard to falsely place blame,
On others claimed not held accountable...
For actions,
Long abandoned by the ones...
Who refuse to accept,
Taking responsibility for anything done...
They do.
Even if caught in the process,
Of lieing about it excessively.
Beyond suspicion to think it borderline!
This habitual lieing is sick.

Borderline?
Nooope!
Sick?
Yes!
Mos def.
