Bow To Wishes Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

It was never intended to serve
Even he does not deserve
To remain through out under domain
And painfully kill self and remain

It was not planted to grow as flower
Come occasionally on earth with grace from shower
It was supposed to be natural
All persons assigned to work on arrival

Man and woman even though continue to exist
Side by side with no truth to twist
With equal respect and love for each other
And with responsibility to share

Where from it should start?
Create trust within and feel as part
This all is debated in earnest
Wife’s role is considered as best

Male member taking complete control
Respond to needs and urgent calls
Of all requirement and facing the challenges
That is all he had to remain firm and manage

It is magnificent role and willingly accepted
Women in their capacity have never reacted
All done in fair name of dependant
That is not the scene today at present

They need equal part and are desirous
That struggle has remained continuous
But wife in them has not disappeared
Their well being as woman is never feared

In life we praise and bow to their wishes
Stand by them and help them to reach
At the top of the ladder
And provide us guidance as leader
