A gossamer gown
tattered brown,
my braided dreams
pause for a breath,
a river of music streams
through the dreams
a lion roars silently
morbid pain rains
granular on my brain
like useless analgesic
for a heart lacking basics,
the patched sky glows
into my black rainbows,
parched earth below
whimpers, stoops low,
tearless grief looms large
on my life that fails to recharge,
silence screams aloud
like rainless dark clouds.
Screaming silence and a black rainbow. These images come from a heart that is acquainted with the night. But the river of music and the gossamer robe make me think some magic remains...
A wonderful poem abounding with images. ' Silence screams loud like rainless dark clouds', beautiful line from a well crafted poem.
