On the ten-stringed lute
let me play songs of love.

I want to sing a new song
praising the face of God.

God fills the earth with his love.

All who live in the world
come with me to sing
the songs of praise and love.

Beauty that is in our hearts
when we sing for God
is the sign that God
thinks of you and your song.
