Broken but not shattered

Freedom is not won
The liberty is not gone
The soul remains independent
That is the situation at present

Syria has witnessed cruelty
Previously from their own brethren ruler
Now it is faced worst from the invaders
They call themselves as peacekeepers

It has become battle found
And peace is never found
It has become ground for testing weapons
The country has been turned into a concrete jungle

The effort is really worth
It depicts the mountain of deaths
Where people are not free tot ake breath even
From their homeland, they are divided and driven

Yes, you can see the rubbles
It is dream crash of people
Now they are faced with deaths and starvation
What can you expect from powerful nations?

Whether it is the use of rockets or chemical weapons!
It is holocaust and destruction
The children and aged are not spared
The whole of country bleeds with pain
