betrayals
hurtful betrayals
destroying spirit
crushing soul
such experiences
soils the innocence
of our youthful purity
but we who treasure purity
sanctify innocence purity
will be cleansed of our wounds
like finest steal we are refined in furnace
broken cast down shattered pieces
may be crushed to dust recast new pots
fired glazed patterned spirals lives
like symbolic phoenix
we are reborn in fire flames
upon world pyre sighings

To call the world a pyre is a tremendous condensation, a compassionate encapsulation, a far reaching embrace.
