You look with love in your eyes
he sees but never realizes
his love is there he thinks
but you only feel the hurt
he shows his affection
as he slaps you to the dirt
and says he really tries
like a time bomb ticking
in an ocean your heart sinks
as he says he never meant to
he just apologizes
and tries to touch you
promises only broken with his lies
love falls and only dies
you sleep with his broken lullabies
love becomes realities destruction
with a broken Angel who no longer flies
still he says he loves you all the while
and tries to make you smile
but all you feel is the pain
broken alone in the rain
knowing he could never refrain
your tears leave a blood stain
to an end of another beginning
