Burning Pain Poem by Amy Kerswell

Burning Pain

Pain and helplessness.
Burns and simmers away.
It all buns inside.
I cant rember a pain free day!

Pain burns away.
Reminding me
I can never be free.

The burning pain.
The sensation I feel.
Like my head will explode.

Pain burns like fire.
With the amber flames.
Not to crumble to ash.
Always smoking
And smouldering away.

And one day the it will stop smoking and smouldering away too, Amy. You just have to be patient, and let life take it's course because nothing happens without a reason. I was told that my time to be complete in my body and soul is just ahead, and now I can actually see it. But it makes me so sad that it took this many years to get here. It's not how you fall that people watch, but it's how you get up that they care about. Chin up girlfriend, we'll fight the world together :) . Thanx for sharing, this another one of your fine poems. Barbara
