Bury Me With Felicity Poem by Bernedita Rosinha Pinto

Bury Me With Felicity

Rating: 4.0

Don't bury me
just because I died;
Bury me
with tears in your eyes;
Bury me
with a pain in your heart;
Let that pain and those tears
cease after I am gone;
Let God take over
and grant mercy to my soul,
your tears can't reach me in heaven
but your heart can hold me within;
Bury me
so that God grants me peace
that I have always wished for;
Bury me
without regret
as I have waited to go
where my soul should rest
after this turbulent journey
of my life has ended;
Bury me
with felicity
for while I am gone
let my love resonate
among yourselves endlessly
and help me win
the eternal peace I seek.

I too wish to go with the same message to those I leave behind. IN GOD WE TRUST.
