But What About What I Want? Poem by Mahfooz Ali

But What About What I Want?

Rating: 2.7

Everyone expects something different from me
they all set standards that I can't measure up to.
My parents want a scholar.
My employer wants the perfect employee.
My coach wants a muscular physique.
My dermatologist wants my skin finer.
My employees want me a perfect boss.
But what about what I want?
