By The River In Summer Long Ago. - Poem by Margery Rehman

Hot, long lazy days
Sun dazed dragonflies skimming
Light filters through leaves
We swim among the lilies
Dreaming of the perfect love.

A sensuous lyrical piece - this meditation in words evokes a time of youthful leisure and peaceful contemplation. Soothing to the soul. love, Allie xxxx (Report) Reply

Swimming among lilies? Sounds idyllic. What a picture you have created. But then, I do like your poetry anyway. A soothing read for me, Margery.
