Calm Before Storm Poem by Terence George Craddock

the calm before the storm
after the storm the calm

lightning will strike in storms
lightning will start wild fire
lightning strikes will burn the land
wild fire will burn across the savanna
wild fire will burn dry grass land

after the storm
after the lightning
after the fire is ash
after fire after the ash

will come rain
from the ash after the rain
will come rich new grass
from the ash grass will grow
rebirth in cycles of life in the land
