There's not a superstitious one
as superstitious as a one
makin a livin upon a ship upon
what a superstitious one
has to call Blue John.
Sayin 'the sea' instead
ain't 'alf what brings bad luck.
One can't say 'duck', has to say 'daffy';
has to say 'bags' not 'wind'.
Bad luck comes from 'guts' not 'soo'.
Many more than these four there are too.
