Can You See - Poem by David Knox

can you see the boy here
do you see it my dear
cant you see this is me
i may look different not like i used to be
such adversity has changed it all
fall after fall
has changed me so much
and now i look like and talk like such
maybe not for the best
maybe now im worse then all the rest
i really dont know
i dont pretend or put on a fancy show
this is me accept it or not

Interesting poem. Yes, we must be ourselves, no matter what others may think. Good poem. Read mine - Who Am I -
