haaey, laakhoN thay mere sapnay
tera haath apnay haathon main liyay
main chalta rehta aakhri dum tak
jab aakhri sooraj dhalta
aur chamakta chaand main dekhta
tere sundar cheray par.

mera khwaab tha
main tujay kisi ajeeb jagah le jaata
jahan paaoN na rakha tha kisi manush nay.

mera khwaab tha
main teray liyay khaana banaata
jo khaaya na tha kisi manush nay.

patta nahin kaisay
maray kwaab chakna-choor ho gayey
aur mil gayey door k baadlon main akaash main.

dekho, ab main akela khaDa hoon
ek baDay pahaad ki choti par.

akela hoon main tere bina.
kyaa cHlaang laga kar mar jaaoN main
zameen pe jahan meri rooh
mil jaaeygi teri rooh main hamesha k liyay?

I had a million dreams
To walk with you hand in hand
Till I see the last sun,
The last radiant moon
Through your sparkling face (sparking in your eyes)

I had a dream
To take you to a strange spot (somewhere)
To which no human being (where no human being has even been)
Has ever visited.

I had a dream
To prepare a kind of food
Which no man has ever done. (ever tasted)

I don't know
How my sweet dreams were
Powdered and mingled into the (turned into dust)
Inaccessible clouds in the empyrean.(and merged with the clouds in the sky)

See, I am here alone (here I am alone)
On the top of a gigantic mountain. (insurmountable mountain)

It's a ferlorn me without you (I am lonesome without you)
Should I drop my physical entity (should I jump onto the ground)
Onto the ground so that my soul (where my soul would slowly merge)
Would languidly sail (with yours gently in time?) .
To commix with your soul?
