Casements Of The Dawn Poem by Emmanuel George Cefai

Casements Of The Dawn

Casements of the Dawn
You
Have eyes
But they be blind!

The eyes
They saw
But with
Long time
Grew blind

With beauty in the Dawn
With beauty of the Dawn
Dazzled this day
Dazzled the next
Years passed and
Centuries
And
Now
The Casements of the Dawn
Grown blind
Need mending!
