Catalyst

Rating: 5.0

She...longed
to do

'this! '

But - she didn't.

She stopped
herself in her tracks

&
reached to stroke

- the cat.

He...longed
to do

'that! |'

But - daren't.

He thought: 'Damn...
well...that's...that! '

reduced to stroking

- the cat.

Their hands
electric with yearning

touched

& one thing
(a little bit of 'this! ')

led to an...
(a little bit of 'that! ')

...other

Amazed they wandered
through the maze of

each other.

The cat

- had kittens.

Catalyst :) the cat has kittens :) - sweet loving poem gravitating around your main subject: love...again and again in so different aspects!

I love the way you mimic in words the awkwardness of the couple trying to get it together but failing until the pregnant cat gets them together and they can't stop! And the title is a good pun and good fun...clever and delightful. GinaXXX
