Cenotaph Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

Cenotaph

Cenotaph

Neither rush,
Nor do judge!

First, listen,
Hear well.

Then crack!

You can laugh,
Or agree, or cry.

Here, I, in downtown
Am relaxed, look around.

Drizzles and breeze,
Maneuver, hit trees.

Scatter falling leaves
On roadsides, streets,
Psychedelic beauty...

Wish could die right here,
As if is my grave!

Do not care what people
May think, say, blabber!

To some, am Romantic,
And to some Crazy!

Do I care for comments?

Not at all, no, never,
Not even for moment.

My conscious is teacher:
"Be happy and yourself,
Enjoy life, be harmless."

So, ignore those judgments
As useless and worthless.
